Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond hair and an ebullient appearance, shares tips on how you can cook dishes that are restaurant quality in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell was a student and worked in the best New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell developed a passion for food and cooking in her early years. She pursued her love of the restaurant industry by enrolling at The Culinary Institute of America after obtaining a degree in English as well as Communication at Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic adventure. Culinary Institute of America was an excellent place to study. Following graduation, Chef Burrell resided in Italy for a year, taking classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She also worked in La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin starred restaurant) in Tuscany. While in Italy, Chef Burrell acquired an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian culinary traditions. It made a huge influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children living with difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she is an advocate for juvenile diabetes awareness. Burrell is often a guest to speak at conferences and tours across the nation in her mentorship job.
