Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial singer and composer who weds the soul of gospel and jazz with R&B to create a unique mix. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Avery Sunshine has been a hit all over the world. Sunshine is Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her music career singing and playing the piano in church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B music scene. She was then invited to perform during President Obama's inaugural in 2009.
